Weekly opportunities to connect with the community Aqeedah (Islamic Creed) Course A course on Islamic creed is held every Friday from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. Women's Group The Muslim Women's Group of Omaha meets every Wednesday to discuss Islamic topics and socialize. They meet every other Wednesday at ICO for an Islamic lecture just for women. Omaha Qur'an Academy The Omaha Qur'an Academy has recently opened sessions to learn how to read the Qur'an. Tuition starts at $60 a month. Classes are held Saturday through Wednesday. For more information please contact Imam Mohamed Abu Taleb at (402) 214-6226.
ICO raising funds for Qur'an memorization scholarships

ICO is raising funds to sponsor children within the community to memorize the Holy Qur'an at the Qur'an Academy of Omaha under the direct instruction of Imam Mohamed Aboutaleb, a hafidh and graduate of Al-Azhar University. The cost to sponsor a child starts at $100 a month for a part-time student. The cost for a full-time student is $200 a month. To find out how you can make an automatic donation towards the tuition of a child in our community contact ICO's treasurer Br. Nodir Khayitov.
